Called NOS

I called NOS and asked them a couple questions.
1) Me- does your 2.5 lb bottle have a siphon tube?
NOS- Yes. All our bottles have siphon tubes except the 10 oz.
2) Me- I have a dry nitrous system on my motorcycle with a size 28 jet. What would be equal to a 50 hp shot?
NOS- A size 28 jet is good for 30 hp. A size 40 jet is good for 50 hp.
Me- I'm making 35 additional hp with the 28 jet.
NOS- Well then you're doing good.
Thought I would share the good info.

I live my life a quarter-pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, im free. I need FRIESSSS! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didnt blow a seam on your nugget box.

well those jet sizes are all relative to the system they are installed in so you can't say that any one jet makes a certain amount of power. Also they could be referring to another style of jet or a nozzle for a wet system.
actually I've always thought the 28 made around 30 as well. 36makes 45 or so and a 40 seems to make around 60.

so your saying that your 28 jet gives you 65 horse?? you sure it's not a 38?? wonder if you have the wrong style jet?
I'd be pullin some timing out of thst thing to keep it from going boom if I was you...what kind of numbers in the [email protected]% on the pc for your NOS map?

05 lime green. Sato slip-on, pc3usb, bmc race filter.

I told NOS that it was a dry shot with a small solenoid. They said that my 28 jet was good for 30 hp. My hp tuned for nitrous (running rich) makes 152 hp, with the nitrous I make 187 hp. So that means it makes 35 more hp with the nitrous.

oh ok I got you.. I thought you meant you made 35 MORE over what NOS said the jet was good for.. Makes sense now.
So basicaly your running a 30 shot..it just makes a few more horse then that.
