Busted my oil pan tonight, ive got questions

Well, I was actin a damn fool tonight, just got my sprocket on and goin way too damn fast and hit a bridge harrrdddddddd and cracked the oil pan. Already called and ordered one. Whats all involved in changing this out? Of course take the plastics off and headers and what else is involved. Thanks for any help yall can give me.

Thats pretty much it, you will probably need a new gasket, it is real strait forward, I did it in less than a hour toatal. You only really need that main pan, the front sump will unbolt from the main pan and bolt to the rear. Make sure the screen and pickup remain undisturbed when you take the pan off, it is a good oportunity to clean that out if you want. Oil pan is like 124$ from ron ayers, the gaskets you will need the sump gasket and the main will run around 20 more $$.

i busted mine a while back right after i had just replaced it.....took it to a local welder and had them add a metal plate to the bottom portion of the pan....i've hit hard several times now and no leaks or cracks

yeah last year we put my bike about 2 inches off the ground to goto the track the next day. i rode it for an hour and a half and put a hole in mine. lol but luckely my local shop had an extra one from there race 10r so i got lucky and was back on the street 3 hours later. but yeah like 10r said its not a bad job at all

When you get the pan off might as well take look inside ur pick-up screen to make sure there is not any clutch debris in it.
