Building engine

Sooo last year the generator kinda explode and it did not damage so far except for all the metal inside the engine.. i took it all appart and souldnt have much left..

now it is a spare engine and i want to boost it a little!
Before doing it any test i should do to the engine?

I Did my research and this si what i saw i should do

Akrapovic full line
secondary butterfly fully removed
Velocity stack kit
08 race intake cam
kawi .50 thin head gasket and head decked 10
Carpenter spring
and APE retainer

Thats the first time ill take appart an engine to "boost" it so i dont know much about it ..

What is the thickness of the gasket i need to get and how much material i should have remove from the head to keep it safe since ill be racing it?

What is the name of the tool i need to compress the spring to be able to get the retainer ?

.45 mm hg should measure out and be better, .015-.20 deck, cnc valve job is critical for high rpm power. valve spring compressor for installing retainers. all safe and streetable assembled/degreed/tuned properly will make good power and torque.

Schnitz. cnc valve job is wen they recut the angle of valve n match with new or recut seats and somtimes square of top of valve to make sure square and there are other thing done as well but basically gives u much better tolerances etc for better power n less lost
