Smile Bridgestone BT002RS tires

So I got my new tires mounted and went out for about 20 miles. They feel great so far but I think most new tires feel great after removing the stockers. Im ridding them on the street with 32 PSI front and rear. Has anyone else ran these tires? Im plannning on taking them to the track and I would like some feed back on tire pressure for both the street and track on these if anyone has any? The real test will come this weekend when I put 100 miles on them and I will give a review.

P.S. I still have 5mm ride height added to the rear and have not decided if I will take it out or leave it. Curious if anyone running these made height adjustments front or rear. Thanks!

I have the rear not the front, So far im pleased with it.
air pressure was 35 at last check
i dont race. only street but i did not change the height as it is the stock size 190/55.
The bike seems more nimble, like ready to turn on a dime.
will be getting front soon.
my rear was $200 mounted and balanced

i just bought a set of these for my first upcoming trackday and maybe first race, i'll have them mounted by the end of the week. I went with the 180 rear so i'd like to hear about ride height suggestions as well as right now im running stock ride height with the 636 knuckle/dogbones

Well I know the 190 55 rear is narrower than the stock quali by a bit and it does help turn in a lot. Not sure how the 180 compares.

I really want to try these tires.... I recently added 8 mm to the rear height ... just to make the bike turn quicker and it REALLY helped a lot...

I have an 05 btw.

I bought my '05 used and it has a set of these on it. They aren't too bad, but worn. I have new tires that will go on when my new fork seals come in.

Tried them last track day. Ok until the second round they turned to grease. Just my 2 cents. Good luck and keep it safe.

I have been using the BT002R (medium) compund road race tyre since last July. The tyre says either street or race on the sidewall.
In any event, they stick like dung to a sheep. My Ten was great with these tyres. They are quite expensive as a set, and made a deal with my mate. We would buy a set and I would carry 45% of the cost, and he uses them in 2 heats at a race meeting. I then use them on the Ten.

They are great and I have seen at track days Im one of a handful of riders using them. Most ppl either fit the Corsa or Michelin instead.

I stick to the BT002, period.

then for fun I drive a british racing green MINI Cooper S
