Bitubo shock on the '08 10R

Picked up a Bitubo shock that was originally used by a factory-backed national racer. It's being rebuilt and dyno'd right now but I couldn't resist test fitting it on the 10R. Having used a couple Ohlins shocks before, I wanted to try something different as I have heard some good things about Bitubo. They did have some limited success when they supplied the PSG1 WSBK team for Chris Walker back in 04-05.

First impressions: The build quality is incredible. They claim that 90+% of the parts are CNC machined out of Ergal 7075 aluminium and the attention to detail is very impressive. Adjustability seems to be great with both hi and lo speed compression, rebound, ride height, and hydraulic preload.

I'll do a ride report next year, when I actually get to try it out. Anyhow, here are the pics.

Now that is a very impressive piece. Almost looks like artwork. Very interested to hear your riding impressions on it - just sucks we have to wait until next year.
