bike at the dealer

had to take the baby in today....Still no luck with the countershaft sprocket nut....i have exhausted my resources.... not about to heat a bolt with oxy/acetalene... and to tell ya the truth i think the bastard is crossthreaded...cause i have did everything i could think of to get it off....also getting the rad fixed.... dropped it one night in some gravel and it busted the mount on the right side off...so i was like well ill give some jb weld a chance....it worked great untill i did one good wheelie....then when i set it down it just broke the jb weld.... oh well though.......im not too awful good at soldering....so ill have to let them do it i suppose.... any way should get it back sometime early next week... let ya'll know how the countershaft nut went and all that good shit

i need to weld my radiator mounts as well, a friend of mine broke his off his zx10r....$500 for the fan, $800 for a new radiator...his fan melted to his headers, and the radiator was generally fugged. i dont do alot of wheelies, but better safe than sorry i suppose.

It's not as hard as it seems. I had trouble with mine, then I found that I hadn't gotten the lock washer away from the nut all the way. I'm not a big guy by any means and I got it loose by myself using a breaker bar about 2 ft long.
