Question Any1 Used The Heat Sinks After CBR Caliper Swap ?

As the title says, has any1 used the thin steel heat sinks that come with some CBR Calipers, I didn't use them because after studying them I concluded they are designed to let the trailing piston move out of square {hard to explain] please see attached pic.
