Any one make their own link pipe?

Just curious how many of yall have made your own link pipe, im planning on making a custom set up. and dont want to buy a nice akra one just to hack it all up. Thanks.

I've had several made at a place here in Houston...lone star muffler. they've made link pipes and adaptor/step down couplink pipes for me in the past and have always been VERY fair with prices....plus i think the guy likes doing something other than car exhausts every once in a while too.

So is there anything complicated about it? Is there a mount on anything or is that before and after the link pipe?

there is a few tabs for the cover if you wanna keep it but its pretty straight forward.

Sweet thanks, shouldnt be no big deal. But im actually throwin around the idea of fitting up a slip on for a 08 cbr 1000. What yall think? should be too hard to get to fit. ?
