Another TRE!

Just read this on another board. It seems do exactly what Ivan's does but I'm wondering if this disables the gear indicator also. That's the only thing holding me back so far.

Yeah that's the good part! It's cheaper than Ivan's and does the same thing. The Healtech TRE does NOT eliminate the fuel cut! That is the major purpose of the TRE, to smooth out the on/off throttle abruptness. The Healtech is almost double the price and does not do what a TRE is supposed to, no tnx on that one.

So if it eliminates fuel shut off, would that not cause there to be excess fuel going through causing backfires? Wouldn't that cause the bike to be remapped? No?

The injectors are only going to call for the amount of fuel that's needed. It keeps the fuel pump on so when you get back on the throttle the fuel is there.

The GiPro doesn't eliminate the fuel cut?
The one on my 14 does.
