2005 zx10 Custom Hyper Pro Damper Mount

First post, but I Searched for days on finding a universal damper mount and didnt have much options, so figured this info might help someone out one day

09 zx10 stock tank damper mount bracket ($20 my cost from dealer)

used hyper pro damper from craigslist $120

Scrap .190 5052 plate aluminum $0

This is just a mock up, the alum plate is not strong enough at all, still debating on which direction i am going with the custome bracket..

but so far,

Two holes drilled through tripple, one hole utilizing the stock clip-on position mount/threads (upper right) and bottom bolt is a simple washer and nut set up to pinch the bracket into the tripple through factory hole.

well anyways heres a picture.

Looks good but they make a fork tube bracket for this very application....any bike shop or dealer should be able to order it for you and they run under $30. BUT looks like you're on the right path man, just replace the alum bracket with something a little stronger and you should be set.

No. The clamp would hit the frame/tank useing a after market damper with a stock kawi ohlins damper mount..

nah, water-jets hate drawing segments, so its all a perfect radius now... took my solidworks guy 2hrs to clean it up perfect so the waterjet didnt have any hiccups.. the DXF file that is attached to one of my above post goes with the bevel/line.
