2 much crankcase pressure??

ok so i ran my 10 for tha first time after break in at tha track this weekend and came with some small issues. in the included picture the small hole above the clutch cover i noticed oil running out? it wasnt blowing it out but just oozing out a bit, also form the crankcase breather filter we put on the block? my mechanic called schnitz this morning and they said this is a common problem and it might need a evac system to drain the oil. but my mechanic think a ring might not have seated and is causing blowby. were gona do a leakdown test next week and go from there. anybody else have this problem or here about it?

Bigger pumping losses and windage with a bigger capacity engine , this is pretty common.

You had an Evac system before changed the breather for a filter.

If you dont want to use the intake vacuum to reduce the crankcase pressure , then you should use a catch can for the excess as it will pump oil out.

Could still be a little blow by from an unsealed ring or two though.

yep, same thing happened to my motor man, sorry to hear it happened to you as well..... gapless is a great way to go though, My motor has about 5k on her now and shes still doing fantastic!!! Was getting so much blow by coming out of my breather that it filled my belly pan up with oil..... (my breather just vents outside and down)

yeah I defiantly did notice hp loss..... after I did gapless rings and tuned with advanced timing I gained 10hp!!! Blowby does not do any good to your motor.... I have a 1051 but shes pretty strong but yeah wait till you get those rings and that 1070 will come alive.
