1st ride in........update

some 6 months i tell ya's! it was rather short (90mi) and somewhat mundane as i didn't hit any real twisty sections mainly due to testing out the newly configured suspension components (05 zx6r dogbone & links) and adjustments.
I did ride some of the same roads i've ridden in the past so even though my memory pads(buttox) hadn't been used for awhile it was able to detect the difference between the OEM 10 parts and the zx6r parts almost instantly the most noticable difference was the rear end was more compliant and planted on smooth undulating roads with dips as well as bumpy washboard type rural NV roads which is a welcomed feel after the more abrupt, sharp kickback type feedback one gets from the OEM 10 dogbone/links even with the Penske.
It's certainly a worth while mod even if ya pay full retail for the 6r parts.

I also managed a top speed run out in my private high desert (4,500ft)testing grounds that yielded what has been stated by THE ICE MAN as well as some other's that a 16/39 final drive equates to 178-9 topped out end of story.

Please forgive my ignorance, and I'm seriously not trying to be a smart-ass here. I didn't think you guys got winter down there.

I've got something to say...It's better to burn up, than to fade away!

Please, call me Burner.
