190 vs. 180

cAN ANYONE IN THE FORUM RECOMMEND A 180 REAR AS OPPOSED TO A 190?

180's are generally used for 600's (smaller, thinner, and a lil lighter than a 190) and 190's 200's for higher horsepower 1000's. Some guys use the 180's on 10's for drag runs but not much else.

I prefer the turn in and feel of a 180. Not as stable but just a better feel in my mind.

Some guys used to like to run them because of the profile, buy a 190/55 instead of a 190/50, similar profile, more meat when you have the bike thrown over, get really crazy and throw a 190/60 on.

I always go 190/55 but my buddy ordered the 180/55, but he got them at a discounted price so was just getting the pros and cons if I was to use them they're bt-003rs'.

Im running a 180 at the time and have no complaints, actually feels a little more responsive........

I just started running a 190/55 and it was the final piece for getting the perfect setup for the way I ride. It raises the rear a bit and aids in turn-in in a way that is perfect for the zx10. Your results may vary, but I would go for a 190/55 vs a 180/55.
