08 Race ECU: what else is needed?

got the race ecu and sub harness recently for my 08 zx10r. i know it doesnt support side stand switch and fan switch. hoping to get tuning software by next week. do you kneed anything else besides the tuning software for this to work? such as relays? and can i piggyback with a bazzaz or is there no need to?

not yet. my kawi rep is gonna hook me up with 1 hopefully for 20% under dealer cost. so maybe like $400. but hope to have it this week. got the ecu and harness off ebay for $200

I'm not familiar with the sub harness, so I can't help much.

I'm running the race harness so, mines totally different. The only relay I have is the fuel pump relay which has to be ordered seperate. The factory relay box is not used with my harness.

I would think that with the sub harness, all your relays (relay box) would remain functional. Brake lights, head lights, fuel pump, blinkers, etc.

Yes, you can run the bazzaz unit with the race ecu. If you have a custom map, you probably should.

I highly recommend buying a quick shift sensor. I can't believe I went all these years without one... I like GP shift pattern myself.
