06-07 Exhaust Poll

Okay friend is ready to buy a full system for his 2007 ZX10R. He has reduced his options to the following;

Full Akro stainless system with Ti cans

or

Full Arrow stainess system with Ti cans

Cost is not a factor as he can get them both for virtually the same cost. Any pros or cons that you all can see to the two?
I feel they both prob make identicle power and scale in very close to the same. Seems sound and look are the biggest differences.

I know many run the full Akro; but very many with the full Arrow? Is mapping for the PC avail for the Arrow? Stuff like this.

So what do you all think? Just friendly advice. He is unclear as he likes em both and maybe someone has some new insight that he didn't think of?

I said buy the headers and put one can of each on, ahaha

I had the Akra full system EVO Ti. And I be lying if I said I did not miss it. Only if I stayed at home and not ride on that fateful day my akra got wrecked.. Back to the topic of this tread. I would give the Arrow the go ahead. It looks to be a very good system.

Anyone heard both of the systems? Wonder how they compare in the noise department?

akro has a ver good rep, so you cant go wrong there. but i have heard and seen a lot of the newer arrow systems, and they look/sound VERY nice. not to loud, but a good deep sound. the construction is also very good, as is the akro. i would get the arrow just to be a bit different.

Hard to go with a Beet when both the Arrow and Akro full systems with Ti cans can be had for around $1050 each.

Decision was made to go with Akro largely due to the overwhelming popularity and availability of maps.

Arrow does appear nice and im sure it is as I have put Arrow products on other bikes. But the Akro has won the hearts and minds of many and I have never heard even a single poor thing of Akro. I have an Akro full Ti on my racebike and it works great.

I know Beet is a good pipe, used in racing as well. But you cannot say a bad word about Akra. These are very good pipes, and it one of those products it does what it says on the box! Ugly you say.... Just wait till you got your Beet on..... That's is not a pretty pipe.:headshake
