$2000 for headwork?

Are they serious, on your head?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KAWAS...fAccessorie s

NOTE THIS IS A MACHINE SHOP SERVICE on your cylinder head. PRO-SERIES VERSION 3.0 cylinder head KAWASAKI ZX10-R by PRO-1 RACING. the following work is performed on your cylinder heads: heads are soda blasted and ultra-sonic cleaned. stock valve seat and guides are removed . new mold star 90 valve seats are installed. these are the same seats used by NASCAR in there cylinder heads. new tough-met valve guides are installed. all valve seats and valve guides are made in house. valve seats profiles are CNC MACHINED on a NEWEN BB CONTOUR MACHINE. same cylinder head machine used by NASCAR. a SERDI or formed tool cylinder head valve machine is a thing of the past. valve seat profile are designed to enhance air-flow and port velocity. intake seats are multi- angled designed for your cylinder head application. these are not cookie-cutter valve seat profiles. exhaust seat are a venturi style design. these valve seat profiles could never be machine on a formed tool or SERDI valve machine. heads are hand ported. we believe bigger is not always better. ports are ported to enhance both air-flow and port velocity that is critical in a multi-valve engine performance. for more information on this machine shop service call 1-800-597-0922 or check out pro-1 racing on the web. we have video on u-tube also showing our machine shop services

About a week turn around, this along with the kawi intake race cam picked up 11-12hp.

there are some other threads going more into detail about the epoxy head work making it a more efficient higher velocity head

Like to see the before / after dyno chart for this when you get a chance. It would help you sell more heads I'm sure.

All the guy talks about is valve seats and valve guides. What a tool. Guides are going to make any difference in a head. Most of the time i cut down the guide anyways.

I love the references to NASCAR....because we all know that carburators and pushrods are the pinnicle of racing technology!
