ZX10R VS R1

So their i was Driving at my own pace on the Rustenburg Highway when this blue R1 comes flying by my left hand side , so i think to myself no biggie i will catch him and ask this "Nice Gentleman" if he wants to see how he's Blue Flame Goes against my Blue Rocket ? I got next to him, got he's attention showed him to pull over at first he shook he's head after awhile he agreed know why ? he could not get rid of me hehe 8-) so we took the next offramp and when we came to a complete stop i climed off my Blue Rocket ZX10 Rules anyway back to the story asked him nice if he would like to have a Decent 1-6 gear Race straight line Drag if you will he Agreed we decided to turn back on to highway to pretoria it was quite no cars in site they finished this new highway a few months ago so not to many ppl know about it yet [smilie=b: hear we go
1st /pulled away from him about a bike length/ 2nd/neck to neck/3rd/i started pulling away about half a bike/4th/him realing me in a head infront of him/5th/started pull away again half a bike/6th/kept my position/
The ZX10 won a Half bike length Very close race Std the ZX10 is stronger But i heard of guys with 10'S getting there ars wiped with R1 only thing i can think of or u can't ride or your bike's been buld on the wrong day. if your Pullaway is bad the R1 would win,you will start to catch but then it's 2 late him. It was alot of fun Thanx Dean For The Sunday it was a Blast! [smilie=b:

ZX10 / STD Km5279.00 in Miles =3299.375
R1 / STD Km4658.00 in Miles =2911.25

Sweet! I live in Tzaneen. That's what like 400km from you! We're organising a small rally in Magoebaskloof from 6-8 August, you and some mates should really try and make it! Let me know if you're interested! Also, we're organising a track day at Zwartkops for 19th December! We're looking to book the track for the day! Let me know.

thats what I call a real objecktive race with completely accurate data. These two bikes are too close to each other. If you let the r1 one bike you need to go to until 6th gear to catch it up. so be careful zx is faster but dont underestimate r1. the first gear pull away should be the difference between the powercurves of both bikes. As we all know r1 has a huge dip at the middle range.

True, due to the peaky nature and need for revs (according to reviews) of the R1 you've got a change in low and mid! Idea. Get a long and steep uphill, and then dice the r1
