Spies is less than a year away from completely dominating AMA Superbike (even w/o Mat screwing up). PLus he'd be an extremely well-needed shot in the arm for the Suzuki MotoGP program, if he stayed with them.

Mladin has said repeatedly he's too freakin' old for GP.

DiSalvo has to grow up a bit and win some races. He's in line for a Superbike ride when Yamaha returns to the grid.

The other Haydens may be championship material here, but in a league full of champions like MotoGP, they would not cut it.

Spies, he is already used to using traction control, so that should help a bit too

Spies is probably the only one that could make it.

He who dies with the most toys wins!

With 4 Americans already there, you won't see much movement from our side of the pond to theirs. When Edwards and KRjr retire, you can count on Yamaha to find a fast 250 rider to replace him, either Spanish or Italian. As for KR when he leaves, daddy will probably call Kurtis in for development duties since he can be had cheap.

Remember, a GP ride is at least as much political (Spanish rider on a Spanish-run team with a Brit rider to please the British sponsor) as it is talent.
