Russell

How do you guys think Russell will do at Daytona? I would love to see him take the Suzuki guys to school. Fat chance I know but I really miss watching that guy race. His last to first place race in 94 I think was one of the most balls to the wall rides I have ever seen, guy was passing people like they were on dirt bikes. Kind of a bummer hes on a yamaha but I will still be pulling for the old man.

Well, he crashed the 650 in the horseshoe during the MOTO-ST race so he is a little rusty. I think his expectations of top 5 are good. A podium would be great and I don't expect him to win.

I know he doesnt like daytona too much, after talking a little too much shit, and getting his ass beat one year. He was good in his prime, but i dont expect him in the top 15.

Yeah. My understanding is he can't race "professionally". However, since he's going to be an instructor with Jamie James' school this is "promotional".

I was at that race. I remember that. He was riding like he was possessed. If I remember correctly, he went down in the Int'l Horseshow on the first lap and I believe he was riding for Kawi at the time.
