Resistor modules on ZX-6R kit loom


Newbie here go steady guys!

Can anyone tell me what the two plug-in resistor modules actually "do" on the kit loom (the ones with RED and WHITE wires)?

I cannot understand why Kawasaki did not incorporate these resistors into the ECU, unless they can be replaced with some trick (or maybe not so trick) alternative device that makes the bike into a works machine!!!

Does anyone know any secrets that they would like to share please?
