This sounds like funhttp://www.motorcycle-usa.com/157/54...50-Racing.aspx

That's an awesome article. Small-displacement racing is often closer - just watch any world 125 GP race.

We have a similar CBR Cup class here for the Honda CBR 125 ... even less power, although I daresay the CBR has a better chassis ...

Helibars, MRA screen, Ohlins damper, reversed shift pattern, sorted suspension, braided lines, Michelin Pilot Power, all else stock 'coz it's fast enough!

thats cool. it would be cool to get a youngster started on that because its as close as we have to entry level racing. Does anyone know if the red bull rookies cup is ever coming back to the states? I loved to watch the young guys out there fighting for it.

I did it once and it was alot of fun WSMC Ninja Cup. The cost is way less than trying to race a 600cc. One thing to keep in mind is your weight, at 190 or more you would have to be great rider to win. I am on the 916 bike!
