MSR 6/11/06 Pics

Hey... haven't been around in a while, so I thought I'd poke my head in and post up a few pics from last month....

These are from Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, TX running clockwise, mostly coming out of the rattlesnake. I didn't do as well as I hoped that weekend, so I'll just stick to pics.

Need to talk about the TXGP stuff...

For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil full of deadly poison.

eh... like 7th and 10th in the big classes, and a couple of 5th places in the SV-only classes... I should have been on the podium, but the 100+ degree heat and worn-out tires conspired against me. In my 3rd race I switched to the DOT's since they had a little more life left in them than the slicks, but set the pressures way too low (they were already hot from sitting out all day) which made the bike very difficult to ride fast. Despite this setback, I managed to get up to 3rd before the bike almost spit me off on the last lap, dropping me back to 5th

oh well... that's racing

thanks... yeah, I really need to invest in some new tires... the slicks I'm on have a 6 hour endurance and 8 sprints plus practice on them, so uh... they're a little worn
