nakona did a great job, but obviously couldnt stay with the lead 2. he kept his third position easily though. those bridgestones just arent helpin him any. as for colin, i still cant figure out why he went off the track. he must have been so focused on gettin by nicky, and stayin there, that he lost his focus on the corner. seemed strange. heard a rumor that hayden missed a shift or something, thats why he went off. anyone know if thats true? congrats nicky, and way to go KR jr., keepin right with stoner and pee-wee until the end.

Nicky has already proven, to me atleast, that he will be champion this year. Dude got some breaks with Rossi, Capirossi getting injured, but the Kentucky Kid can ride fo sho!

Assen race was classic racer ending.....no one wanted second and both almost bit it (well colin did) to be f#1. You know, Nicky and Colin would have done just fine coming in 1 and 2....but that racer mentality kicks in and says fugg it....I am going to take this win! I can't get enough of GP.....

Colin was in front when he crashed - watch it again in slo-mo, he tucks the front and has to stand the bike up.

Nick admitted he wasn't going to make the turn and claimed to hit a false neutral, yes. He wouldn't have made the turn anyway with the line Colin took.
