Lets talk Casey Stoner...

Just got from 2012 MotoGp Laguna Seca and Indy races. What a joy to see Stoner lean that bike and also slide that rear tire in the turns. He may not have the best personality, but as a rider he will be missed. Can no one lean like Stoner. Then he tears right foot ligaments and still goes out there and performs. To me MotoGp will not be the same without him.

Thoughts?

He's not popular and neither was Mick Doohan.
But they both know how to ride a bike at 5% past its limit and keep it there!
I personally will miss his performances. Carl Fogarty was another. Couldn't stand the man, met him, still disliked him, but he knew how to ride his Ducati.

Actually....I am "The Batman" anyway!!!

MotoGP is dying. Marco and Stoner are gone. What is left to this series anyways? Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and a couple CRT bikes.. LOL WSBK FTW!

I'm not a fan of his, but he's a serious contender in the series which is otherwise on its death spiral. As said, the loss of Marco, Stoner, and Spies is hurtful to a series that needs some attention and big name stars. The only thing that next season will bring is to see if Rossi can get more podiums than Jorge.

I may not be perfect, but at least I don't ride a Suzuki.

Ridding the Internet of bad grammar, 1 post at a time.

Never been a Stoner fan but fuck can he can ride a bike, whats more impressive is how he can ride around issues on a bike that others simply cant. Watching him ride in Indy with an injury and comparing that to Rossi's piss poor effort= WTF out qualified by a CRT and only 3 sec in front at the end of the race, please Ducati give this prick the elbow ASAP i cant believe Yamaha are taking him back sounds like MOTOGP = Desperate...

Stoner is the man...

Yamaha was not working with Spies to help him get the bike he wanted. I forgot where I got this information. Basically Spies was ridding a bike set up for Lorenzo. Treating Spies like a developmental rider.

As far as Marco... when he left the sport it felt like I lost a personal friend. He was/is my favorite rider.

Don't like it when he blames others for his mistakes, but he's getting better about not doing that. Other than that, i really like him and definately motogp is loosing one of it's best. I really like his no nonsense, tell it like it is attitude. Typical aussie, think doohan/mladin, and with the talent to back it up. Plus a hot as fire wife...

Motogp is going to be hurting next year.
