Just watched Tivo'd AMA Supersport @ Daytona

I was psyched to see Scott Russell back on the track but it was so sad to see him finish 26th. Even ran off the track a few times.

I was watching a race @ Daytona about a hundred years ago...back when they still had a 750 class...Russel was on a ZX-7. He was on pole and ate it early on. Broke off his left foot peg and still won the race...I guess being off the track for 7 years effed with him...he actually seemed a little scared...

Props to him for getting back out there though...even if he WAS on an R1

Yea you could see the frustration he had after his second off track experience, I know it must be hard for the old guy but he just needs to let it be. Good race though, I think Lil' Hayden is going to do good, and how about Bostrom saying he will win every race this season? far fetched I think because this class is too competitive and close.

It was an amazing performance by Roger Lee considering how beat up he was after crashing the Superbike earlier in the day. But I think Kawasaki is going to need to come up with some additional mid-range punch because the R6's seemed to pull him off of every corner but he could run with them on the big end. It was just hard for him to catch their draft since they opened up a little on him coming off of the turn onto the banking, everytime.

Don't confuse me with facts, my mind is already made up.
