Giving up Drag Racing trying Track Days

I've decided to do both! I'm gonna find a track nearby and give it a go. I will still drag, but not as much. Looks like its more fun and rewarding to do Track Days. The Drag racing i'm gonna leave to the pros and to the guys who know what they are doing. I will still drag my car, but for the bike i'm gonna give it a rest for awhile.

"Best" (Time Slip Proof) Run so far :

60ft:1.7
330ft: 4.5
1/8: 6.7 @ 113mph
1/4: 10.2 @ 142mph

Go for it! Hope you didn't dump a ton of cash into extended swingarms & other drag stuff. It won't fly on the track.

Nope not here!! I didn't get the extended swingarm just for dragging!!! I still like to take a curve or two going over 40mph!!! LOL!!!! I just want to give both sides a try !!!!

Right on bragg. I would suggest you do some prep work then.

W.F.O.ing with style will bring life back into focus

Good luck, I'd like to but drag racing is cheaper and closer.

Just take it easy the first couple of trackdays, or it could be way more expensive!!!!

That’s the beauty of drag racing ..at least for amateurs...it doesn't take much cash to go fast.

I must admit I am longing for a new track day myself….good luck on whatever you decide bragg.

i do both.. let me recomend 2 things to you.
1 let a suspension teck go over your bike before you jump ship. nothing beats the snot out of the forks like a strap.. also the rear shock is set up all wrong when you drag race to road race. so suspension teck..
2 go dragracing ASAP when you get back... often people including myself forget how much fun it is. so i recomend doing a track day but then go drag racing right after... both are fun but i will say this ALOT less risk in dragracing.... but road racing produces better pics.

I got tiered of buying go fast parts.... So i got a turbo! now i need go slow parts!
If it aint modded it aint yours!
