Front End Strap

Awhile ago I ordered a front end strap for the Beast. Since then I noticed that some companies also sell Caliper bracket adapters with the strap. Do I need to get the Bracket Adapters or will the straps work fine. The look similar to these.

I ran without the brackets but I had to grind and bend the mounts that attach to the caliper so they would mount flush behind the caliper bolts. I did end up buying the mounts and doing it right. It will work either way but I feel better with the brackets on mine.

7.5" extensions($300), 6 up rear sprocket(free), front straps($20), lowering links($60), removed slipper($200), shinko u-soft rear($165),Yoshi Slip ons ($300) 9.84 @ 143 w/fat boy(230lbs) = priceless.
