Dutch GP ****SPOILER****

Can't wait to watch this one tomorrow on speed! I couldn't wait, had to read about the results! Sounds like the battle for 1st and 2nd was raging between two americans at the end of the race! Surprised no ones posted about it yet!

The last lap was amazing. Nicky passed Colin for the lead a couple turns b4 the finish, after running ~1.5 sec. behind for several laps. Said he figured out a new line that helped him gain a bunch. Colin went off track into the run-off lane, then passed back just b4 the final turn.

Nicky didn't give up and stuck next to him on the outside, but missed a shift, hit neutral and went off-track. Colin also went off-roading and hit the gas while on the turf, causing the rear to step out and pitching him off the right side into the kitty-litter.

Hayden's dirt-track experience paid off and he kept it upright to get back on the track and take the win. Poor Colin got back on to finish 13th. Dude looked absolutely devastated, but he made a good fight for the win. Good, fair battle btwn him & Nicky, but Nicky came out better.

Finally, a win in Europe. Go Nicky! 42 point lead over Pee-WeeDrosa for the championship. Too bad Colin's wreck gave the Elf a podium finish.

Rossi has some huge, brass ones. He finished in 8th with his injuries, lapping at times equal to the front runners by the end of the race. Damn!

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Always on Saturday for this race. Don't know why, tho.

There's another race (two each year) held on Saturday, too. But can't remember which one right now.

Happy for Nicky, showing he belongs. Happier for Kawi finally getting on the podium this year.
