Dropped two teeth + shinko rear Tire = New best.

Back to the track today after installing the new reworked clutch, the new sprocket and a good rear tire.

60' - 1.66
1/8 - 6.40
MPH - 116.38

Backed it up the very next run with 6.41.

I know it will go 6.30's easily....I just babied it, launched off Idle. Bike is lowered and two teeth down....everything else is stock.

Did you see a difference when you welded the slipper?? Did it make an improvement in your times??

How much did it cost ya??

Hate to ask all of these questions but what rpm do you leave at? Are you letting the clutch out and then rolling Wide open throttle or are you leaving wide open and letting the clutch do the work.

Thanks for all of the info man. I cant get 9's out of mine yet.

I actually changed my whole style of launching this weekend. I posted new times (Sunday) in another thread. 6.32 @ 115 on a 1.61. I pulled several 1.58 and 1.59 60's as well but could not shift third!

Believe it or not I launched off Idle! I gave it full throttle rode the clutch just a bit and let it go. It pulled great! The clutch is good, the welds were perfect and it's holding up awesome so far and I have about 18 passes on it.

I paid $500.00 for everything.....that includes labor, a new clutch($200.00), shipping .....total out of pocket.
