Buying Tickets for Indy...Help!
I am thinking about taking a nice trip up to the race this year but am somewhat puzzled on how to buy tickets. I went to the track website but there are so many options on what to buy.
They first give me three choices-
Daily General Admission
Race Day Reserved Seats
Parking or Camping Permits
When I go to Daily General Admission it comes up with a season pass for the race...which is for all three days but doesn't specify seating.
Racey Day Reserved gives me tons of options to pick from. Penthouse, Terrace, Vistas, stands, etc. This is where I'm lost...if I purchase one of these Race Day Reserved Seats do you guys have any suggestions on seating which will be a good view? I'd imagine a very nice corner would be cool or is the best bet getting near the start/finish line?
Also will the Race Day reserved cover parking and everything? I think if I make the trip I'd like to go for all 3 days so what would I need to purchase to see the practice, qualifying, race day and would that include driving from the hotel and parking there?
Any info you guys can get me would be appreciated. I know it's getting late and probably should start trying to get this squared away as in the list it appears that some stuff is selling out already.
