"Stupid" describes the positions of Honda and Suzuki in all this. Suzuki in particular seem to have burned a lot of bridges behind them. Their actions don't seem to indicate that they want to co-operate with DMG at all, but if they're waiting for an alternate series to magically appear out of nothing ... I'm not optimistic about this MIC/USSB thing happening, and I'm just a regular outsider looking in.
EVERYONE knows that splitting US roadracing in two is a bad thing. EVERYONE. To me, it's quite apparent that the DMG series is going to happen, and the MIC series would require quite a number of almost-simultaneous miracles to happen for 2009. Maybe 2010, but would that mean Suzuki takes a year off?
Helibars, MRA screen, Ohlins damper, reversed shift pattern, sorted suspension, braided lines, Michelin Pilot Power, all else stock 'coz it's fast enough!
