2006 vs. 2004 Zx-10 @ the 9/10ths Races!!!

Well the 2006 is definitely holding its own in the top speed battles here in So. FL. Yesterday I got to run my 06 vs. garth285 04' on here that makes 176whp.. Mine dynod 156hp but with a few of Icemans little mods to the bike i am sure its making a few more hp on the street..

1st Race...We rolled out 1st 4k RPM and from the hit I was out on the 04'.. I never really looked back but I hit 185mph in 9/10 on radar..

2nd Race.. I was little more confident on the launch and i got out on him again and by the end of 9/10th i hit 185mph and approx 10-12 bike lengths according to the guys watching the race..

Mods on my bike are Akro ti system, Tre, BMC, Pc3, Airbox Tricks .. The bike is completely untuned and on stock gearing.. I got a long way to go to make it to 200mph but i have alot of confidence in the 06' 10.. The ram air seems to be the best of the liter bikes and the wind protection is great.. 2 big components in running top end..

Im sure garth is gonna come back with some tricks in the next week or so. I look fwd to some more battling out at the 9/10ths...

hahahaha, you bet I'll have some tricks......

gotta say though what really counts is the gearing thats the only way that you are taking me. the way I am geared is really poor. Im at 18/40 and my fat ass can only pull the bike to 180.5-181 across the line.

Dont worry I'll be out next sunday with somethign for you guys and I gaurentee your bike aint gunan be coming in first hehehehe.

I really wish Juan would have jumped on my bike man, the thing rips but he is cautiuos of the carbon fiber rims for what ever reason but I'll have it set up properly to run the 9/10ths with the right gearing.

We deifntly need to wait for roads to dry up alot sooner as well. wouldnt have helped me really today but that 2nd or 3rd race you murdered me really bad cause I broke loose to much.

I get left lane next time :-D

cool, now thats what i am talking about.. I will see you next week.. Lets not forget i am 230lbs too.. truth of the matter is that sal is much closer to your weight (15-20lbs) than i am but i wont handicap you by making you run one of the 9/10th pros..unless you start pulling me by several bike lengths due to my weight, its me and you bro.. I know my bike will be faster..its on for next week..

yeha Im about 200 with gloves and helemt.

I think we have a pretty good competiton going on though man, its really fun this type of racing, drag racing got kinda old but 9/10ths is defintly more competitive.

I think if sal ran me I'd have no chance lol hes pretty damn quick but
