Give it up for Rossi, he earned an inportant win. Stoner crapped out. Had nothing left in the tank. He looked dead in the interview. Lorenzo is a contender for sure.

One of the best last laps I have ever witnessed!
Sucks about Melandri, I was hoping he could stay competive a few more rounds. He got a good start, but dropped like a rock, just like the last round.

In the BBC broadcst they were interviewing Jorge, and Vale came up and congradulated him, and Jorge said (on air) "wait till next round" its gonna be a fight the rest of the year, no doubt.

yeah that was a good race, its gonna be hard for little ole Rossi the rest of the season I think .. I just wish Hayden would do better but I think his days are numbered for MotoGP racing not to sure how long Ducati signed him for ??

Rossi seemed to let Lorenzo past with like 9 laps left, then when Rossi passed him with 3 left, I knew it was going to be a dogfight. Like he knew Lorenzos pace was very fast. In the past, Rossi waits till the last lap before attacking when hes stalking.
if Pedrosa can get healthy then it will be a 4 way slugfest.
They swapped the lead 3 or 4 times on the last lap! Great stuff.

All I can say is... PURE BALLS, baby! There was no mistake by Lorenzo. Rossi is one THE best late-brakers (if not the best) in the game and knew he had to pull off one of his best to take this one. Lorenzo had more tire than Rossi and Rossi knew that, hence all the sliding he was doing just to keep Lorenzo behind him. Lorenzo's line was tight as hell (still hate the lil arrogant fucker though), but Rossi can ride the shit out of anything, w/ a good tire or a completely worn tire.

Thats was one of the best last 3 laps I have seen in MotoGp in a while and the announcers pumped it up and made it even better. I was even screaming at my TV the whole last lap! Fuckin' Awesome...

I should just copy/paste this!

Rossi basically said that was the best race he's ever had during the post race interview. Re-taking the lead on the brakes at the edge of the track at 200+ mph was just freaking awesome!! I feel lucky to have witnessed it. lol

Rossi was amazing on that last lap. It's too bad for Marco, at one point he was up to 9th wasn't he? Must be he spent his tires early.
