*AMA SPOILER*Hacking on the 10

Seems like if he could have stayed on the track, he would have rocked ass. Can't wait until race 2.

Monster Energy Kawasaki's Jamie Hacking added some flair and drama to the fight for second. After impressing in practice and qualifying, the British-born pilot made the race a bit of hard work for himself, running off track, back on briefly, and then back off, and finally on again, while holding third on the second lap.

He fell all the way back to eighth in the process before regrouping to pick off his opponents one at a time as he charged his way back up the field. Lapping as much as a second-a-and-half quicker than anyone else on the track mid-race, Hacking took over the runner-up position shortly after closing in on a pre-existing hard-fought clash for the spot featuring American Honda's Neil Hodgson and Jordan Suzuki's Aaron Yates on lap 10.

Good race. It would have been nice to see what could have been if Hacking hadn't gone off track in those 2 corners. Hopefully it is a sign of what is to come tomorrow. He certainly seemed very happy with the bike and tires.

Lots of racing on Speed tomorrow. Both WSBK, AMA, and MotoGP...

On a side note Bradlee_T that was not cool what you did today in your Thread heading the race wasn't even aired on TV until 7:00pm PST and just was lurking in the early mornings and already knew by your heading that hacking crashed or something.......read the Sticky's man NO SUGGESTIVE RACE RESULTS how many times do we have to say that on this site...... that's 2 races weekends in a row someone messed up. ...I'm thinking infractions for those that don't read the rules may be in order.

I realized that I forgot to put it in there just after I posted it. I tried to edit it, but you can't edit the title from what I could tell. I was glad when BD placed it for me there 20 minutes later. Sorry if I ruined anyones race weekend. There is always race two for AMA Superbike. My heading said Hacking on the 10....how does that say crash?

It's freakin' awesome to see Kawi on the box and actually a contender. It's been soooo long. Hacker is the shiznit and is proving why he was brought over from Yamaha. Go Green.
