you'll be hard pressed to get the features you are looking for in that price range. I have a Garman 60c that is very rugged and weather proof. Good deals can be found used...

got it for work, it was junk. When driving in conjested areas it had me on the wrong road's. If streets were close togegher it would put me on a different road and once I turnded again it would jump to the new road I was on. That would mess up the directions. I gave it back to my work and baught my own garmin streetpilot3 it's the shit.

Really? I've had mine since they 1st came out and love it.
Miami is pretty congested and it works here, it can accept an external amp antenna for even better performance.
Upgraded to version 7 city select recently. Ebay has good deals on refurbed ones with V7 maps and car kit.

I Even have it rigged for the bike but it's not waterproof. The other thing is that it needs external power to stay on constantly or it will go into stand by. No big deal cause it will come on for a turn but I rigged external power. It's in another thread around here- I'll look.

If I had to replace it, I'd get the pocket pc/ garmin m4, preloaded with detail maps, 3d or 2d maps, bigger icons for use with fingers.
Love the ability to drag the map and zoom quickly, easy to use....

I also have a garmin etrex vista cx (color) accepts micro cards for detail maps, waterproof but small. Does routing so it works fine.

Both happen to be real close to Ti color as well- happy coincidence.

Sarah Palin and friends can call it a snow machine all they want but Yamaha, Polaris and Bombardier plus the related magazines all seem to call them Snowmobiles.

Snow machines create snow on ski slopes. Just sayin'

This is a good thread- GZ has garmin with XM radio and streaming Nexrad weather radar. That'd be great around here in summer.

This thread shows different ways I mounted my ique- this was the final way. A clear bag and rubber band could keep the rain off if I did not have another option(etrex.)
