ZX12 Engine / ZX10 Chassis

Why? Upgrade the flagship?

Obviously the ZX10 chassis would be lighter than the current ZX12.

I am sure the 12 motor is heavier than the 10. Don't they have similar horsepower? The 12 will have more grunt.

It could become an upgraded "flagship", but it would have to have a clear performance advantage over the ZX10 to remain the standard bearer.

The 12 has always seemed to me to be a softer option to a pure sportbike, but more edgey than the ZZR1200 or the FJ1300.

Don't confuse me with facts, my mind is already made up.

Snce the development of the ZZ-R1200 Kawasaki could change the focus of the NINJA ZX-12R to be more sports orientated. The ZX1200B model was more sports focused than the ZX1200A, the 2004 model with radial front brakes and double throttle bodies and 32 bit ECU the motor will feel behave better and will be easier to live with a day by day basis.

Big is not always better unless you ride on Bonnevill salt flats every day.
