Well I really learned my lesson this time.

I just got a letter from my traffic attorney last night.

I got the results of my last ticket that I got.

The ticket was a few months ago. In my Porsche, 80 something in a 50 zone.

This is close to my 100th ticket (I am guessing)

Anyway here are the results;

Instead of paying the $200 somehting ticket plus increased insurance cost (plus increased annunities fees) I paid my traffic attorney $49.00

The ticket was dismissed, I have to pay $100 in court cost plus do the on-line driving school.

Yup, I will never speed again. I am truly reformed.

Don't drive fast kids!!! It is just not worth it.

ya ya ya...

I one upped you! Woo Hooo!! Mine ticket in the P-car was 90 in a 60. Attorney was free (company bennefit) and the fine was ~$120, no hit on the insurance, no school!

Now, with the money I saved, I'm going to buy a V1. Put dem speed trapping sukkas in check! I don't usually run a radar detector b/c I've always felt that if they saw one there's no talking your way out of the ticket. Up till now I've been let off with warnings. Now I'm 2 stops, two tickets, with nearly $500 in fines (no insuarnace hit though). Time to stop talking and start detecting.

When I was younger (18 or so) I used to average 20 or more tickets a year.

Now I only get about 6 or so.

I live in S. FL, tons of traffic enforcement.

I have owned nothing but sportscars and sportsbikes my whole life.

It is interesting to note that I have never been in a car accident (except for the track) and a couple of times where I have been rear ended (slightly) while sitting at a light.

I am a very skilled driver. 45 MPH (which is the speed limit in most places around here) is very very stupid slow.

I have the built in radar in my P-car with the laser shifters on the front and rear.

It is not visable to LEO's when they pull me over.

They do not seem to be in every area.

I got a ticket for 110mph in TN and had to take my lumps as traffic attornies do not exist there.

Here when you get a ticket you get bombarded by offers for attornies.

Typically I get at least 10 offers.

Your lucky you don't live here, we have a points system, 12 points to start with, when you run out, no license for 3 months.
