Is it too cold to ride at the gap next week?

I live in FL and will be in N. Ga next week...

I want to hit the Gap several times and do the "DragonLoop."

Should I bring the 10R???? Or will I freeze my balls off?

This week its supposed to get warm where I'm at as the day progresses. However up in the mtns its usually about 10 degrees cooler. Its pretty much always a cold start in the morning and it usually gets better in the day. Keep a check on weather.com for Robbinsville, NC. and Dahlonega, GA. Robbinsville is the gap and Dahlonega is the 129/180/60 region in north Georgia.

You will be fine on the gap. Just dress warmer when you go up on the skyway

I live in FL, so you gotta be more specific when you say "dress warmer"

hahaha

I was thinking,
long sleeve shirt + sweeter + leather jacket
and
long johns over my jeans...

Is this good or warmer?

I wear under armour underneath my leather pants, underarmour and long sleeve turtle nec under leather jacket...pull the turtle nec up into my helmet when i get up on the skyway

it all depends on the temp. its going to be about 10-15 degrees colder at the highest point on the skyway

Yeah I'd wait till about lunch to hit the skyway up, that way you don't freeze to death.

I almost forgot. If you are in North Ga riding, be careful with the popo in Lumpkin County. They are really being harsh on the bikes because its a playground up in that area.
