Thinking about buying a new Camaro..

Been test driving a loaner the past week to see if I liked it. I do- boy, I do. Its just a white 2011 V6 LT2/RS but it sings to me. They want to make a deal on it but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I want to know if anyone has one and if anyone has had any major problems with theirs if any. Especially V6 owners. I know the V8 Is more preferable/powerful but quite frankly this car the way it is is plenty fast. Thanks!

Oh man, don't go RS, if you just have to get a V6 go test drive the Mustang V6's first. They run mid thirteens and will out perform 2010 GT's. Mustangs ergonomic and interior is worlds ahead of the Camaro's too. That being said, the Camaro's are a great looking cars and seem to have rock solid build quality compared to the 4th gens. I would never buy a V6 though just for the record. But they are still nice cars. I may be driving a shitbox before long anyway, so I'd be happy with anything, lol

Never drove a Mustang so I may have to do so. We (she got to drive it and fell in love) do love the Camaro and since she likes it too that's a great thing. The sportiest thing she has ever wanted to own before this was the Mazda3 4door so her liking the Camaro is a wonderful stroke of luck for me. When I get to go back into town we'll test a Mustang to see if we like it better.

Thanks for input all, keep 'em coming!

I LOVE the exterior, but as soon as I sit in the Camaro I hated the interior. It is very plain and small on the inside.

I'm waiting on the 550HP ZL1 to come to Kanukistan. Otherwise peeps that I know that have RS or SS have had no issues. Convertible or hardtop.

Funny, we both liked the interior. She thinks it's a little low but once the seat is adjusted to her she likes it. She's really small(5'3") so she can't see over the dash when it's normally adjusted but once the seat is up and pushed all the way forward it's good for her. Memory seats would be a good option to have like what's in her Equinox. In 2LT trim it looks nice IMHO, but I have nothing to compare it to in sportscar terms. We love the HUD in the 2LT, but not having one isnt a deal breaker.

Couldn't imagine having the ZL1 GL-S, gas mileage would be horrible lol! That was another thing she liked about the RS/2LT, 19/29 MPG- she's still a money saver no matter what the car...

i know its not a camaro, but we get close to that kind of mileage on our 2011 grand cherokee. its a v-6 (280hp/260tq) and 4x4, ride great too. never been much on the camaro myself, the new ones anyway. only ones i like are the 67-69, the real ones!
