Textile pants with knee sliders?

I'm pretty new to sport bikes. I was just wondering if anyone makes textile pants with knee sliders, or if it's even recommended? I know leather would be the best choice, but textile is usually cheaper. It was just a thought and I was wondering what you guys think.

Honestly if your looking at draggin knees then leathers are the way to go. Also you can get used leathers for pretty cheap. Sometimes cheaper than getting new textile gear. After getting my used gear I will never buy new stuff again (except helmets).

I've never seen textile with knee pucks. You also said you're pretty new to sportbikes. That being said, I'm assuming you're not dragging a knee just yet, so you have time to save up for leathers?

Here's a good web site to buy used race gear: http://forums.13x.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

This is after a two second search: http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=261535. Cheap gear is out there.

They can also answer pretty much any question you have about racing. I'm also assuming you want to do track days? To save you some heart ache, don't ask those guys about a textile suit with knee pucks. You'll get flamed.

ALL are VERY good suggestions man and now that you mention it.....don't know if i've ever seen or heard of textiles with pucks either? the wera forum has a ton of good used stuff......even better than ebay sometimes just depending on what you're looking for. DO NOT go on there and mention the textile's with sliders. best of luck though bud and you'll find a good deal, just look around and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Those guys are a tough crowd.... Being only the occasional track day rider, I feel like a freshman in high school on that board. Good people though.

Thanks guys. I pretty much knew the answers you would give before I asked. After looking around on www.newenough.com there are some leather pants on there that are pretty close in price to some of the textiles.
