So, my ivans TRE came in today...

So, im sitting here watching the ama race i recorded.. and my wife comes home. Not 5 minutes and she's already bitching about something.. so i grab the TRE and say to her .. "hey go plug this in maybe you'll get more responsive on the low end" LOLOL!!!!

So anyways, when i put all the mods i just bought in.. (tre,pcIII-1/+2,spedohealer) should i remove the butterflies while i do this?

How hard is this to do and what are the gains? All i have on atm is a slip on 2 bros

yeah i say pull them too. i just pulled mine -gen II- and have incredible response down low now. Definably need a tune though
oh yeah mine were a pita to get out. i think i stripped like three of them and had to drill them out. used some magnets, some tissue, and a 2 ft 1/4 inch piece of vacuum line rigged to my vacuum to make sure all the pieces came out.

Pull them and gains are small but think of it as more as a support mod. Helps get air to the throttle bodies quicker.

Just a light tap on top of the phillips screw driver with a small hammer will loosen the loctite. I have better bottom end from the mod.
