Parts Washer solvent???

Hey guys, what kind of solvent do you all use in your electric parts washers. I have a small one like in the picture, but I'm unsure if I can use a Hi Flashpoint solvent or not. The directions say not to use flammable liquids. Makes me nervous with that electric pump submersed.
One of my friends tells me he uses regular parts solvent (might be mineral spirits) from a parts store, but then again, he would clean parts in one hand and weld in the other.

thanks

I use whats called Aero-Solv, its a heavy duty degreaser/solvent, non-flammable non-toxic.

We use PD680 in ours in the military... Not sure what that converts to in civilian specs.

How well does a degreaser work on those really stubborn parts? Is it water based? Will it promote rust?

Well, for an electric parts washer, that could create a hazardous condition. Keresene certainly is not a Hi Flashpoint solvent. I personally wouldn't use it.
