New (used) Car.

It's time for my wife and i to trade in her 99 passat POS and "upgrade"

We're looking for a sedan, but also one with power. The 1.8t just doesnt wanna pass people.

I was looking at a nice Mid-modded audi S4 but the guy sold it yesterday.

Can anyone reccomend some good sedans that Have decent power?

Would prefer to stay away from v8's. Turbo and TT is ok.

Oh, and we're looking to stay around 10k, so we're going to buy used. So... between 2000-2010 i guess

Two bros exhaust, pcIII, 16t front 42t rear, 1/5 throttle, ivans TRE, HID's,white LED running lights, complete underglow LED's, speedohealer, flies removed, nissins with ss lines, k&n filter

I used to have an 06 A4 with the 2.0T engine. I cant speak for the older 1.8T engine, but the 2.0T has won a lot of awards. And it will most definitely scoot. I never had any trouble getting around people. Mine was an automatic, but it had the triptonic so you could drop it down a gear and get around people fine. Felt like a damn rocketship compared to my frontier

will i know when its finally done?
this whole life's a hallucination.

The Nissan Altimas run pretty well with the 3.5. The 04's felt like they had an slight edge on the 350Z's off the line. (I worked at the Nissan dealer 03-05) The 3.5 is a pretty bulletproof engine. We rarely had a problem with engine or transmissions. The Maxima's were good cars too. I didn't like the 04 redesign. They aren't bad I just never warmed up to the "toaster slot" sun roof. The 3.5 was an option in 03 as was a manual but are few and far between. My friend who is still turning wrenches says the new sporty model handles worse than the old models.

BTW I don't know if it matters to you. I beleive the 04 was the first Maxima to be made in the US. The 03 and under were imported from Japan. They do have a noticible better build quality than those made domesticly.
