My "RED FLAG" session..

I'm getting butterflies,it was a very nice day, cold but nice @ WSIR 11-27-10. The sun was shining, the bike checks out, the group was in a very happy mode. I sat out the first session (no hurry, got the whole day). I took it easy on my first time out, every body passed up. Next session (warmed up the tires) got a good pace going, feeling alot better and start making couple of pass..Back out again, after the 2nd lap it was game on, riding more aggressive, making more pass, faster enteries, keeping my lines and all smiles..1:30pm , picked up where I left off..About the 4th. lap coming out of turn 2 (speed was good, line was good) WTF, running out of pavement (no panic, no "O" shit) off to the dirt I go, keeping her upright tapping the back brake (okay, you can do this, ride it out, this is not your first time) . I looked up ahead as to see where I can ride it out safely..O fuck, a ditch..hold on cowboy, I see the tank pop up, hit me in my chest..black out!! Came too, I see the corner guy moving around me (feeling pain) told myself "move your fingers (good) move your toes (good) blacked out again..EMT, probing on my neck..Does it hurt? Yes, but more soar the hurt, took off my helmet..passed out..Came too again, (EMT) what's your name, what day is it, how did you get here? Who are you with? Answered all is question, I sat up (things are clearer now) After more evaluation, he asked if I want to go to the hospital, I say no ..I'm good now..The body is still a little soar, the body feels weak and the bike..well the bike didn't escape well, she can be rebuild but I won't.

Ouch, glad to see you still love her!

I've got those same gloves, how well did they hold up?

Glad your OK. Sounds like a little concussion you got there. I've wadded up my bike worse than that before on the track, I feel your pain.
