Talking midget question

does anyone have a significant other that is 5' or shorter that rides a lowered 600 sport bike? do they have any problems touching the ground and what kind of bike are they on. im thinking about trading up my wifes low saddle cruiser for one only if she can touch and was looking for any similar vertically challenged persons to chime in. oh and she weighs 106lbs. thanks

My wife sold her Magna and got the 650r and loves it. She is 5' with her riding boots and it fits her good. The only downside to the 650r you can't lower it.

i'm 5'2" and have owned an f2, an 97 gixxer 600, 01, gixxer 600, 03 gixxer 600, and my 05 1k. i've never lowered any of my bikes and i never will. fucks with the handling too much.

i suggest shaving hte seat on whatever you end up getting.

what i would recommend against:
cbr600rr, new r6 (there's no way in hell she's toching on that), aprilia mille's (though those aren't great starters anyways)

i would recommend looking at svs's, 650r's, 03-05 r6 (or the current r6s), etc.
(though unless your chick is auto/bike saavy, even the i4 600's are a bit much to start with)

don't do any rr's. she won't touch unless she has freakishly long legs. and by freakishly long, i mean legs that span 3/4's of the length of her height

however, if she barely touches on a hte 250, i can almost garantee she won't fit on any of the cbr's
