Magnetic Tank Bags

I was wondering what which bags everyone is using? I need a bag that can be used as a backpack for work and maybe a rear seat bag for the Barber Motorsports race in April.

I know its been asked before but just wondering what people are using currently because the posts on tank bags are pretty out dated.

2004 PBO zx10-r pazzo, seat cowl, yoshi Ti TRS bolt on, PC3, Speedo-Healer, Hyperpro, Braided lines, 16-40, Sato sets, ZG dark screen, and more.

This is what I use:

http://www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=82-406

It's expensive at $170 retail (you can probably find it for less), but it's very flexible (especially after I made a new base for the tail), durable, and well featured. I made another base plate that attaches to the bottom of either part just like the included magnetic base, which allows either bag to work as a tail bag. I can even use both bases at the same using one as a tail bag and the other as a tank bag. See this thread for more info (the pics show the smaller bag on the tail which is all I typically ride with):

https://zx-10r.net/forum/showthread.p...xusia+tail+bag

NOTE: Only the larger bag has backpack straps.

I just picked up a Icon Urban tankbag/backpack off of Ebay for $87.
Looks good enough for day trips and daily commutes.
We'll see when it gets here.

Does any of the bags people use not fit right or any bags to stay away from?

I have an old school NelsonRiggs, that I bought for my ZX9r maybe 5yrs ago, but I love that bag (black). No scratches and sits low enough to even race with if need bee, and can raise to fit a 12pack inside too

Talking

I use the Oxford Magnetic bag.....it works Great, and the quality is first rate! It comes with an attachment for converting to a backpack, and it is expandable.
Hope this helps.
