Leather Dye

Has anybody ever done this? I recently bought a pair of boots and they are white/blue/black. I wanted the black but didnt have any in my size so I had to go with the white. Can I dye the white part black? would something like this work? http://www.kitkraft.biz/product.php?productid=3040 Any info is appreciated...

You have to use a deglazer first

What does the deglazer do? Just prep the leather for the dye?

Go to turtlefeathers.net. They have everything you need. I changed a pair of silver/black to blue/black and silver/black to red/black. They have instructions on the website and all the stuff you will need. I went to Walmart and bought a cheap set of artist brushes to "paint" the tight spots and small sponge brushes to do the rest. Stuff holds up very well Just read through the website and all of your questions should be answered.

White to black is actually a little tougher than you think. I did my snow cone suit - looks good now though
