Did anybody notice this line in the article:
"He was wearing a helmet, but it wasn't strapped on and it flew off, WEWS reported."

What idiot wrote that? Thank god he wasnt strapped on to the bike, he would have been killed. Yeah the next time i ride i will make sure to strap myself onto my bike.

Yep, should have strapped that helmet.
Otherwise it does not say he was stunting although it could be.

If we are that quick to say he has no sense for wrecking a bike in a parking lot. imagine what non-riders must think.

MAYBE he was in a parking lot trying to be responsible and practice riding in a controlled area to later get his license. Looks like he probably wheelied and panicked though.

I assembled a katana 1200? 1000 what ever they were, at work years ago.

Went to wash my hands while the bike was delivered.

Came back to find bike back in shop wrecked! He gave it too much gas, panicked, ran behind it and then let go. Shit happens. Choke may have been on, he tried to blame the bike but that did not fly- it was fine even after the wreck just body damage.

Don't follow ball sports, actually think they are all overpaid thanks to fans letting that be and still attending. So I'm not a fan defending him.

And they were saying his helmet wasn't strapped on his head, not that he wasn't strapped to bike- how did you misread that griffen?

Now riding a motorcycle (even in a parking lot) is Extreme according to the article.

Non riders probably think he was practicing in a reasonable manner with his buddies in the parking lot so he could get his permit.
Bike riders know better!

No arguement there.

I'm just sick of the way the news convicts people these days.

Everyone was waiting for round two of the Peterson deal when that stupid runaway bride took off.
If she had gotten killed on her little adventure, that guy would have been screwed. He was next on the 24hr news cycle and now they both still are.

I mean, those news crews probably booked hotel space for months anticipating the scandal of another Peterson media feast.

Im saying that him putting the helmet on and not strapping it is just pain stupid. However on the other hand It does look (If you look at the slide show pictures) that he had wheelied and came down and saw that curb coming up way to fast...panic braked lock up and dumped it BEFORE he even hit the curb. The speed he was going is pretty clear by the damage to the bike and that poor tree he up rooted.

what a knucklehead...so much talent and not much sense...I dont know if you guys saw his interviews in the NCAA playoffs where he was talking about how everyone went for his knees because he was so good.

"Bikes are like women: beat them like a whore, they can take it and you will like the moaning you hear."

i thought that they have a contract where they cant ride bikes for the first few years of their carrers

Kip: Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.
Pedro: Yes. I don't understand... they say you're not allowed to have pinatas that look like real people, but in Mexico, we do it all the time.
Pedro: Vote for me, and all your wildest dreams will come true.
