June Motor Cyclist

Just got a chance to read the June Motor Cyclist.

Boy, they gave the 10r the 3rd out of 4 places????

Basically they said it was too close or actually over the edge of the "line."

I guess for everyone else!! Heck, I bought it because it was the biggest (or smallest), most bad a$$ bike out there. You couldn't pry my 10r away from me with a crow bar!

Oh well, there loss!

If you are not smoking your pucks and scuffing your sidewalls, you are just not livin'!!!

A 1000cc sportbike thats "over the line", imagine that. :? I guess these things are supposed to be docile.

You'd have to beat me over the head with said crowbar to get it away from me. The more I ride this bike the more I love it.

ZX 10R 5th place in FB magazine

Hi Guys,

Just got my mag & was attracted by the front cover (2004 sportbike of the year) that feature a green kawa zx10r. I was f*cking happy that finally he tops up first, no doubt about it in this forum. But I was very disappointing that R1 got the first place & a very big poster of R1 is also included in the package.

WTF, the 2nd, third & fourth place all taken by Gsxr, 1k, 600 & 750cc repectively. The suzukis have paid them handsomely I guess....

Regretted that I paid so much for a mag that bullshit the fact. Should have bought FHM.

Guys, where can I get a decent poster of ZX 10R?

Peace
Alex

Yea, you can't win. One year they say the zx9r is in last place because it's too cush and doesn't have enough power. Then Kawasaki makes the strongest motor, with the lightest weight and it's too much of a beast. That's why you can't worry about mags and need to just enjoy the 'mad kaw'

Simple. Finishing order determined by size of advertising budget.

Helibars, MRA screen, Ohlins damper, reversed shift pattern, sorted suspension, braided lines, Michelin Pilot Power, all else stock 'coz it's fast enough!

Guys (and ladies), don't take it personal. It's all just splittin' hairs. Finite differences in performance. Are you happy with what you got? My last bike was an '03 Gixxer 1000. Do i miss it? Nah. Does the Ninja blow it away? No. Am I disappointed in my purchase? Hell no! Is this forum better, than gixxer.com? Hell yeah! Don't be upset with the magazine's choices and don't take it personal. If I took everything that was said about me personal, sheesh, I 'd be on Prozac. The Ninja Rocks

Well said

I once said "Displacement was compensation for lack of skill. Therefore, there is no need for anything more than a well balanced 600." Right, who was I kidding.
