no i havent, just figured with all the nice parts on the bike it would be a nice ride. I know it does not have the power of the 10r but it looks like it is setup better....Ohlis shocks, brembo brakes, stainless lines anyways guess i need to go see one in person.......

I used to have a first gen Mille R Factory, It was the most amazing bike I had ever ridden even to this day but it did have a serious problem in that the factory composite tank would tend to deteriorate and break the seal at the fuel pump causing it to dump raw fuel onto the hot motor. It was a known and documented problem and it wouldnt have been so bad if they had a revised tank but they didnt and the factory ended up trading a new model RSVR Factory for my first gen when this problem developed on my bike and they couldnt find a replacement tank for almost a year. other wise the aprillia is the best V twin bike I have ever had the privelage of riding.

well they are a pretty bike, i'd like one also, get an 06 or newer when you get back b/c from reading the last two yrs the company was having rough times plus they did some nice updates for 06.

on a side note, i raced with one, the top of the line, factory version i think, i left him like he hit the brakes, after 2 more times, i asked him are you trying, his answer was yep! but it sounded so freakin smooth.

Just the thought of buying a used 10r like projekZERO's for about 8K, then adding 10K of aftermarket parts to it for the same price as that....

OR, buying a used 10r for 8K and then usin the other money to support myself for a full race season for 18K....

Or, buying 2 10rs...

Or buying a 10r and a jet ski,

ok Im done...but I'd rather have more than what you'd get fer that price.

JMHO.
